Fabulous quilt!! Great job and I love all the novelty prints == especially the beach chairs, teapot, sewing machines == so many fun fabs!! AngeliaNR is right -- those squares in the star centers really make a big difference! I've been wanting to start one of these quilts but dreading all the slow tedious work of a spiderweb, but well worth the time, and no, it doesn't make a dent in the stash, but the quilt is so well loved when done! TFS!!!

Did you use muslin or paper for foundation I have made two of these. And used paper. It is a pain to remove. The one I used all pinks for my grand daughter it really turned out nice. Also do you find the scraps grow even more. Lol?

This is so funny. I started this quilt quite by accident when I was sorting my scraps and this quilt didn't even dent my pile of scraps. I used paper as the foundation and I understand it is popular to keep the paper on till blocks are sewn but being a renegade, I take the paper off just before I sew the sections together. A bit of starch helps control bias edges and I handle the fabric gently and sew slowly. I also make the block a bit bigger and trim it down after sewn.

Another wonderful wall hanging Ube!! It is almost like a crazy quilt in that you put images in that remind me of appliques on a crazy quilt. What a work you have there! I know whoever gets this will love it to pieces!! LOL
