WOW, that is an interesting pattern. I Google "star tumbling block" and couldn't see the pattern in any of the photos.

Nice quilt and tumbling block pattern. It is an eight pointed star (45 degree diamonds) with tumbling blocks around it. Go to: http://incompetech.com/graphpaper/ They have a 6 point (60 degree) on the tumbling blocks grid, but you could get the idea. Color it out so you can see how it is constructed, then print out the equilateral triangle grid, cut and lay it out for the correct layout as it is the 45 degree. Hope my directions don't confuse you, but it is easier to see with their 60 degree grid.[h=3][/h]

well it looks easy enough to do without a pattern. a floral square, two pink and cream hst's and two pink squares and one two color ink hst in corner. I love figuring out quilt blocks on catalog quilt pictures. Good luck.

    It's in this book http://quiltwithmarcibaker.com/proje...ocks-and-more/

And here's a blog that talks about assembling one. Actually looks pretty simple, the way she's broken the blocks down. http://prosperitystuff.blogspot.ca/2...lt-y-bits.html
