It looks good. I have looked this one up and it is less busy than her "Gypsy Wife" pattern, but I do like her patterns.

I think it will be fun! And your fabrics are just gorgeous!

You are doing an awesome job on this quilt--don't envy you working on it though--not only all the techniques but I'm sooo tired of sampler quilts personally! Always like the ones I see, but so tired of making them! Have to admit this one is certainly busy.

I like your choice of fabrics, they allow me to see the pattern. The original reds, yellows, and other colors I just give up trying to see the blocks.
    You are doing great!

I agree with this but perhaps the individual blocks would pop more if they were separated by a (narrow) border. But I really like it.

I don't think it's too busy at all. I like it and love the colors.

I found the pattern while looking at images of the quilt http://www.sewingparty.com/Jen_Kingw...weet-beans.htm
it is busy, busy but it reminds me of our yard when we had wildflowers planted beside the garden beds, busy, busy but pretty in it's own way.

I think if you separated the blocks with just a narrow, say 1" or less, dark shashing the blocks would stand out individually and be much easier for the eye to separate and focus. It's a great quilt. Love the cactus bowl, but to highlight each I do think sashing is in order. Please let us see the finished quilt. Good luck.
