Default What is a laundry basket quilt?

I've seen photos of them. I've seen references to books about them. But what ARE they? How would you describe a "laundry basket quilt"? Thanks.

Perhaps you mean quilt made from patterns by Laundry Basket Quilt company:

    What Trapunta said.

Edyta Sitar (designer and owner of Laundry Basket Quilts) has a definite style. Her quilts are beautiful.

Trapunta and Peggy thanks for the link - I am simply blown away by her patterns. She has a way of playing with positive and negative space to enrich the quilt design without making my eye go crossed, even when so scrappy. I would love to try her applique patterns (bucket list!)

Thank you ladies. She has such a "look" to her quilts, I thought maybe it was some sort of new style.

I just learned about this line of patterns and templates myself. DH took me to a LQS for my birthday. I picked out the "Eldon" pattern and templates as part of my gift. I also want to get the Log Cabin pattern I saw on line, but have not found one yet.
