    Default Black Fusible Interfacing Question

What is the best way to mark black interfacing? I am using it with the Quilt Smart method for making the DWR quilt pattern by Eleanor Burns.

I tried white chalk pencil by Fons and Porter but it doesn't show up enough. Tried a sharpened white pencil but it didn't show up enough either. The marks disappear when I place the fusible on my fabric. Thanks for your help.

Have you tried a white chalk marking wheel?? I don't know of a white be-gone marker.

Try a piece of soap--shave down to an edge. That's what I use. Hope it works for you. OH, I should mention that I only use Ivory soap since it has no ''beauty'' ingreds added.

This is what I use too. It washes out easily, no matter what kind you use. If you can't get regular soap to work, try a softer soap like Dove or Olay.

Thank you for your hints. I too finally thought of soap and it worked just fine. Sometimes you just need a nudge. Thanks ladies. So appreciate your help.
