Default Wall hanging with a hanging twist!

I was asked to make this wall hanging for a friend of mine - her husband loves lighthouses and she wanted to give him one for his birthday.
The uniqueness is not the wall hanging - that I simply sketched from a photo and cut random pieces for the jetty - but the way I hung it. I used plastic fishing bobbers that I sewed to the top of the hanging and then attached to a wood dowel, using jewelry clasps and small picture hook screws.

I am going to start a thread on the main page and ask what was the most unique way anyone has hung a wall hanging. That should start some interesting dialog!

Your idea is very inventive and clever. Great job. Looking forward to your new thread on the topic of unique ways to hang a quilt. Great job on your lighthouse scene also!
