Thanks Dee, they work great! I just didn't know what the pull tab was from. Good idea, now that you said that I think they are on some 1/2 and 1/2 milk cartons too. I'm going to have to start looking more closely

Dee, isn't amazing how you look at things so differently now. nothings safe around me. bathroom tile floors become a quilt pattern. junk becomes a pincushion. nothing is safe around a quilter.

I got the most awesome swap from Rosemary. Oh my and I even forgot to take a pic of the little sandpaper block. I'm glad that I got the flower pincushion as I didn't have one. So cute with the ladybug on the top. And a cute matching needlecase with a nice doily and flower and ladybug. I also got a DVD on quilting tips, 2 civil war fat quarters, M & M's, threader, tea, flower packets, measuring tape, pins, tic tacs, tissues, sandpaper block, and even some kitty treats. Thank you so much everything was wonderful.

Beautiful work Rosemary. I love the nc and the flower pc is so pretty. That is the very first pc that I have every made. I made it years ago and still have it. Mine did not turn out very good the leaves were just too floppy. Yours is just absolutely gorgeous. I love the colors, so soft. Great swap.

I agree, it is just so pretty. I love the whole flower theme she used. I love, love, love, flowers. Oh those nice flower seed packets too. The top of your needle book is gorgeous. I love those yellow pins, and they are my favorite to use when pinning fabric to sew/quilt. They are longer and do a good job for me. Nice fabric you received, candy for you with treats for the kitties, nice measuring tape, tic tacs, tips (those are always fun), the sandpaper block sounds cool, tea treats to relax by, and a great needle threader. A very nice package for you indeed.

Have a great day everyone!
I have been doing a bit of sewing, and hope to do some more later today. I am thinking of fixing something up out on my front porch to be able to relax sometimes, and do a bit of sewing. It gets sunny on my porch, because the front of my house faces the sun when it's out. Cloudy today but warm. I thought about getting me a couple of those bamboo roll down things for shade if I fix something up to take my sewing outside a bit.

Got home from a meeting of Red Hatter's today and found a package from ljdugas. Opened it and I think my mouth went clear to the floor! Linda this is exquisite beyond a doubt! I really hope you ladies can see all the detail in the items that Linda made for me. This beautiful journal, mug rug, flower with a felt bottom, needlecase and beautiful pins, card, 1/2 yard of fabric, candy and then another card that she wrote in. I just can't tell you how thrilled I am with what you made for me and the time and effort you devoted to it. Thank you ever so much for this lovely side swap
