Lynnie The reason we can't grow Lilacs here is because we don't have enough freezing temps or something like that, need so many days in a row so they can sleep.

Thank you ctyankee! All this and candy, a beautiful turquoise batik fat quarter, and a cookbook! Oh my goodness; I received my package today and what a surprise! My dearest friend was the one who had my name...I don't know how kept that secret; I'd have blabbed if I'd had her name!!! LOL
She made me a beautiful tote lined with pockets so I can carry a project, and all my supplies. The needle case is so delicate and studded with small white pearls and filled with needles and pins. There's an "IDEA BOOK", a package of butterfly buttons, and a Monarch butterfly applique. I raise Monarchs and had recently given her a chrysalis to hang in her kitchen window so she could watch it emerge. My pincushion is hand embroidered and beaded. She embroidered my name in the heart and then stitched random letters all around it and I had to unscramble the letters to solve the puzzle!!! How sweet is she! Thank you Suzy0879.

Hmmmm ... I like the idea of sending a pc/nc representing your state to your partner. I also like May baskets, & I think that one is easier -- since I'm very literal!

What if for May, we do May baskets and for July we do our state. PC could be the state and NC be 4th of July or the other way around. Just an idea
