Tilted Ears -- wonderful swap package you received. Love those pin tucks! Very clever!
Dee -- another wonderful package. Very sweet pc/nc! I love dragonflies & morning glories, too. They remind me of my mother's garden; have to get some seeds now.

Mary the single tree is a magnolia but I don't know what the line of trees are. I do know that I have not seen many of these anywhere. I think I'd have to go down that street to see the blossoms.
It is really cold here today. At one point it was 37 with rain and some snow. Seems kind of odd after 80 degrees last week. I'm not complaining as I know what's coming.
Everyone have a great day

We had some BEAUTIFUL snow today also. I am a winter-lover through & through. I'll take the snow any time I can get it.
Jan let me know some sad news: the catnip mouse did not arrive. The package had been damaged & taped when she received it. No mouse & I almost forgot - I also wrote out recipe cards for 2 of my family's favorite recipes on garden-themed recipe cards (she has a garden-themed kitchen). Those must have been lost, too. I called my post office to see if the catnip might have raised drug suspicions, but she said that regular first-class mail is not inspected, only priority mail might go through inspections. The package must have been stuck in a machine or something? I'm relieved that the important stuff made it, anyway.
