Suzy0879,
Thank you so much for the wonderful pin cushion right now it sets beside me at the computer, I just love it. I tried making one years age but it didn't turn out like yours. I love it and it is reversible sunny yellow to brighten my days and Easter eggs for the holiday. My grand daughter would like to run off with my ch-icky but so far it stays on top of the pin cushion. I will be able to put everything to good use. The chocolate I ate right away I needed the pick me up. I have been working on a quilt for Rodney (he is on the board) He had his leg amputated on the 16th due to malignant melanoma. So I have been busy and my brain hasn't been keeping track of all that I am doing. Again Thank you for such a wonderful swap it is so special. Will post the pictures a little later have to get my P/C in the mail I am late as always.

Perfect swap package received today from Aurora! She certainly spoiled me with the extra thread, buttons, scissors, storage container, a whole yard of fabric and 2 FQ's to match and then the pin cushion, needle case and thread catcher basket...and they are all in purple Can't get any better than this, thank you ever so much Aurora, absolutely awesome package.the pin cushion you can hang around your neck and it's a drawstring too, so there is room for a spool of thread too. How cute is that?

Perfect swap package for you Jaba...all purple! I'm jealous and love it!
I'm back from my visit with my son and will post signups for the May swap tomorrow. As for the theme, some liked baskets and others liked flowers so we will do both. Your choice of either a basket or flowers. You could even put some flowers in a basket. Let your imagination run wild!!!

Jaba,
So glad you like it. I had planned another idea, but just couldn't seem to get started. One day I walked into our WalMart fabric department and saw the blackberry fabric and then the basket weave fabric and ideas started swirling through my head and I knew I had the perfect fabric for my April Swap. When I found the pincushion pattern, I knew I was on the right track. Then it was back to WalMart to find the right ribbon for the needle case. Then it was why not use the ribbon on the pincushion so it can be worn around the neck. I am soooooo happy you like it. I use those little cases for my bobbins -- I have one for each machine. This swap was so much fun for me, now to make one of those pin cushions for myself.
