I recently bought a Pfaff 7530 made in 2000 and it works like new. It was made at the end of the time Pfaff was making machines in Germany.

At least they used to be, I have heard some not so good things about the newer ones. I have a 2 year old Bernina 710 which has never sewn as well as it should. Bernina replaced this new series after 2.5 years., as even they recognized the problems. Adjustments are up to the individual dealer, and mine is not about to lose any money satisfying customers.
