    I also glue my quilts together it is the best thing since sliced bread.......I do it on the ironing board....

    It's a beautiful rail fence, I'm sure your friend will love it. It was a nice thing to do for your friend and I pray that she gets better quickly.

    An inexpensive plastic table cloth from the dollar store makes a nice drop cloth to protect surfaces while glue basting, just in case of bleed through glue. Easy to clean, cheap to replace if it is destroyed somehow.
