No. It doesn't match the couch. I think you know that...but wanted confirmation of your instincts. I'll bet you have another place or two in your home that this piece will compliment nicely. Also, it's too big for the table. A table that size would do better with a runner with the triangle tips just reaching the ends and about 2" from the edge on each side. It looks like you have a lot of nice scraps. I see patterns in the fabric in some circles that would go nicely with the couch if they were more prominent. If you want something to go with the couch, a different background would help, too. Perhaps something on the grey-blue side? If you use this elsewhere and make another I hope you will share it with us. Can't wait to see what you design.

No it doesn't 'match' the sofa....matching is ok for some people, not for others. I prefer an eclectic style 'matchy matchy' reminds me of furniture catalogues....not the environments of the creative. Great runner.

It doesn't "match" the sofa but compliments it. I think its too large for on that table. Perhaps you can lay it over the back of the couch, or across the arm. I'd make a pillow or two like the runner. Since you already have the solid beige pillows I think a circle one like the runner would bring it all together. Its very pretty.
