I bought my Studio the end of July . . .Studio dies were 40% off then and again last week, so it appears sales are fairly regular. They usually have a 40% off Studio Die sale on Black Friday, if not before. You can start a wish list on their site and sign up for emails . . .they'll let you know when the next sale begins. I've also found, if I put a die in my cart over night, next day, they send a "triple points" code which add up quickly. Congratulations on the great find!!!

ENJOY. Yes, the 2.5" strip cutter die I have seen for sale on eBay for $79.

I bought the GO when it first came out and have never regretted the purchase one minute. The time it has saved me is worth it, plus the cuts are always the same and that is something I can't say about my cuts when I do them with a rotary cutter/scissors. A great price and you'll love it, betcha will.

    Wow! What a great price!
I keep entering contests hoping to win a cutter ... of course, then I'm still having to spend lots of money on the dies. How clever that you figured out how to cut strips with the dies you have.

Yes, congrats on your treasure find......I have the GO and luv it. Actually used it yesterday with newly purchased flying geese die.....cranked out many birds in no time flat....and very little waste...worth it for accuracy when sewing perfect geese!

Hmm, about that motor....many yrs ago I use to preserve tomatoes for red sauce and had a handcrank gizmo that squashed the tomato meat, separating the seeds and skin from it...but hand ranking is very fatiguing so DH rigged up his hand drill to make it turn that thing. He is no longer here, wish I was clever enough to figure it out. But in the meantime.....not that hard to handcrank....better that slipping rulers and dull rotary cutters!
