Default Cross wall hanging

My grand daughter was confirmed this past month and she had to make a service project as part of her confirmation. So she asked me to help her put together a cross wall hanging. I designed the pattern, went thru scraps, previewing the different layouts, cut the 3 inch squares and she spent about 8 hours sewing them all together. I finished it with the quilting and binding. It finished at 40 x 50 and hung in the church on the day of her confirmation. She offset the blocks, to help create the blending effect and to eliminate matching all those seams. I think she did a great job, and am so proud of her.

Congratulations on the quilt and especially on the Confirmation of your granddaughter.

That is a wonderful quilt! I bet the church didn't want you to take it back home.
