    Both are nice. For me, it would depend on how comfortable you are with large showy border quilting. I would select the second to quilt with leaves, poppies, feathers or waves.

    what if you cut the plaid on the bias as the narrow strip with the wider green fabric? I like the quilt, the colors are happy!

    This is a great idea if only I had enough fabric to cut on the bias. I'll have to try folding it to see how it looks and then figure if I can squeak it out, if I choose the plaid. Or, maybe I'll have to go shopping.

    I really think the plaid is a neat surprise and unexpected. But, the green is calmer looking and safe. I am torn between the two. Aghhhh.

    I like the plaid too. The green is safe and beautiful also. Tough choice and which ever you decide will be the perfect one.

    Love your quilt. Like both borders. If you have enough fabric how about the green border and plaid back? What is the name of the pattern, please?
