Even though this looks interesting, I am working on Bonnie Hunter Mystery quilt and the way she cuts triangles with an EZ angle ruler works very well. I never plan to draw another line...LOL.

You could use any size large squares that are sized by multiples of the HST you need. Use the method shown here. You could use the 8-at-a-time method to make 16 or 32 or 64 HST also.

I have found a solution to keeping up with my rulers...I have them hanging on the way behind my sewing/laundry room door. Just pound little nails in the wall to the depth that I can hang two rulers of similar size on each one. Now I just need to go to that wall to see if I own a particular ruler or to easily find what I need. No special racks to purchase. No counter space needed. No digging through the drawer that I used to store them in, where they would migrate all over the place to the wrong areas.

I use Triangulations software. No marking, no work, just sew and cut along the lines. There's also available for FREE a version from quiltingandwhatnot.com. Quilt-Pro also had their version for sale for $9.95. Don't know if it is still on sale. I LOVE using Triangulations! If I don't need a full page of whatever size, then I just cut the paper in strips or half-pages before sewing. When you cut along the lines, you also cut the dog-ears off so there's no going back and doing that later. Triangulations works wonderfully, and HST come out perfect every time.
