    I, too, know that pattern as Trip Around the World. I love the rectangle blocks. I have made a couple using squares but was unaware it could be made using rectangles instead. That is one gorgeous quilt. Love the colors! I'd say it was worth all the problems to get such a beautiful end result.

    Well I was wrong! Its not Trip Around the World! I thought that book title sounded familiar, and I do have it! What's the odds on that! I looked up the pattern and its almost a combination of Bargello and Trip ATW. Thanks for the info. I like your quilt better than the one in the book. Yours is not as busy looking. Your fabric choices calm it down so the design really pops!

    Perfect color selection for this quilt pattern! You did a great job of sewing (and unpicking and re-sewing - haha) on this.
