Has anyone ever used Fleece as Batting?
I know a lady who received some fabric from someone she knows and in that fabric are several cuts of Fleece. She was wondering if you could use this fleece as batting? I told her that I thought it would be too slippery and it might make the quilt too hot. Any opinions? Thanks for any suggestions. Carolyn

I used fleece as backing with no batting. I glue baste all my quilts and made sure to glue the top and fleece more closely than I usually do. I didn't have any problems with the fleece stretching. Just be sure to use WASHABLE glue.

I agree. I've used fleece as batting in a couple of quilts that I wanted to be extra-warm. As I machine-quilted them, I can't speak to the hand-quilting question, but I experienced no problems whatsoever. Easy as pie!
