I'm so fascinated by the fabric on the bag. Is it two different fabrics? (same pattern different backgrounds) Looks like a batik maybe the way batiks change colors? It's really pretty fabric and a well made bag. Lots of great goodies too.

Ball Frixion pens! I use those exclusively now to mark fabrics. Hit it with a hot iron and it disappears!
I'm a ruler junkie too, so any rulers that make cutting easier, or have neat techniques, I'm usually all over those at quilt shows. Have fun, I love big quilt shows, there are always new ideas and patterns to be had!

And Lynnie thought it would be Friday, guess what? It is here now! So adorable. Now I can just adore cupcakes instead of eat them. Thank you so much for the row by row patterns. I so needed them to add to my 50 state quilt I am working on.

Here's two bags I made for some male friends last year. I apparently overcompensated because I had extras! As you can see, I tried to use more "manly" types of fabrics. These two were made from a line of fabric with Roman motifs. I really liked how they turned out!

MizMelly those are GREAT! I really like the "shaving kit" looking handle. I think we used the same pattern, all but the big handle. Was that your idea or part of the pattern? Either way it's great.
