Man sews dress for girlfriend
He did an amazing job on this dress! And she looked simply gorgeous in it.

Am I just old, or does she look way too young to be getting married? (I know, I know, it's the former. I probably looked that young too when I got married.)
I wish the story had told us whether the guy had previous sewing skills, and what he does for a living.

I'm teary-eyed at this. And I'm not a crier! I want to know how he presented the dress, got her to put it on in that library setting , why there's nobody around to witness the proposal (except for the one taking the pictures) from what I can tell. Very thoughtful guy, he's got a LOT going for him. So often you hafta choose between a romantic guy and a handy guy. She didn't!

That is a great story!
You don't need a fancy machine to make nice clothing. They just make it a whole lot easier. Back in the 80's I made all my suits for work on a basic cheap New Home. I even placed in the Sulky Challenge with a garment made on that machine. While I have a nice Bernina, realized long ago that it's more the operator than the machine.
