Default One block wonder - two fabrics

I posted earlier in the week about making the one-block wonder with two fabrics.

Here are some of my hexies:

Not sure how I am going to do the layout ... but once I get more done, I will definitely be looking for input from other members!

Thanks for looking, and please, keep coming back to help me with my progress!!!

I really like where this is going! I think it is better than a single fabric!!

I have a bunch done, I really don't want to do a massive quilt ... here are two layout options ... I still have another yard of each fabric, so can certainly do more blocks ... wondering if I should do more with the purple background and have the lighter background pop more, or the reverse! I am struggling with layout ...

    help!

Very cool, Marion! Look up the quilts by Linda Rotz Miller online. She has some of the most amazing, creative layouts for OBWs that I've ever seen. You are sure to find lots of inspiration.

    Oh my gosh - gorgeous!

Just a suggestion - play around with many layouts and take a picture of each one. Chances are, one of them will be your favorite.

I like your second layout photo best but don't quite know why. Maybe I like the randomness of it better.
