    Why did you not like working with the homespun? I have a stash of it, too, and maybe you can "pre-warn" me of what problem it could give me. Love your quilt. It's a very appropriate pattern for homespuns.

    I love your quilt and I love homespuns. I have found lightly starching them makes them behave better. That's the only thing I do differently than when working with quilting cottons or batiks. I agree the end results are so warm and inviting.

    Sewingsuz yes I quilted it on my DSM. What a struggle. Illinois the problem I found was with the looser weave it will stretch a bit as you work with it.

    I was hand starch homespun and that makes it easier to work with.

    You conquered the homespun in a most beautiful way. I don't think I would have the strength or the patience to quilt bigger quilts on a DSM. Good job.
