    Thank you so much! Do you mean the stems? I used the Karen Kay Buckley "perfect stems" tools and a stitch-in-the-ditch foot to stitch close to the "stem". That's what Betty, my applique-talented neighbor, recommended. I had to watch the YouTube videos to figure out how to use them.

    The binding on the perimeter is Charisma's flanged binding tutorial. I've used it on every quilt I've made since learning about it a couple of years ago.
