We told you so. Great find. Now look for a celery one. Singer took full advantage of the centennial badge and put them on for many years around the event.
I know, I know, but I thought I was supposed to look for a hand crank! (FYI - I am!)

Not me, and I'm sure you *never* did! I literally have to stop myself from turning Googling into shopping when I look up old Singers now. She's as cute as she can be -congratulations!]
Oh boy! My 1st pot of coffee is spent with CL in the areas around us and all of our kids!

Sweet looking machines these, nice find [img]https://www.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/thumbup.png]
I had no idea, until I saw it!

I tried to remember what I have learned from all of you. Yep, the bobbin case was there, manual, some bobbins, feet. Just like the Pheasant 27, saw it on 2/22 went home, decided just because I wanted it, it wasn't in the budget.

Next morning, 2/23, first thing Ziggy says is "it's so cute" and "it's local". So I grabbed some fabric, brought the list of dates with me and off we went.

Got out the manual to thread it and put the bobbin in. Bobbin thread seamed a little taut, but I didn't want to mess with the tension, yet. Tried to sew. Something wasn't right. Bobbin thread was catching with upper thread, but upper thread was being pulled underneath. Tweaked the bobbin thread just a smidge. That seemed to help a little. I thought this was something that should be easily fixed.

Now the thread was being pulled out of the needle. Take a breath, get the manual out. I threaded the needle the wrong way!

It purred. Picked her up and brought her home.

You all helped me with this! Or else it's all your fault! Thank you!

I'm sorry about that last post and being impossible to read. It did not look this way when I previewed it and I don't know what happened.

Thank you Christine- and topper1. I had seen so many of them online and never one in person! I'm pretty tickled!
