I'm mostly done with this week's clue. Got the cutting and sewing done yesterday. Today I still have to press a couple and then since I do my cut large/trim down stuff, the trimming. I used about 2/3rds pink and 1/3 my added purples and am pretty happy all in all. Sorry if I jinxed anyone but I was hoping for a lot of triangles out of the neutral!

I know the future weeks keep me busier (and I'm going to reread the directions to make sure I didn't miss anything), but for now I am going to have to figure out a couple days of sewing.

so glad I have this weeks die. I have decided to make the sub cuts large enough that the “trimmings” will make strings for strip quilting, oh good another project started.

As much as I love Bonnie's Triangle tool, it is much faster to cut them out using the paper, too.

Thanks for the reminder! Dug out some Thangles and it was quick.

I have all but one set done. I used 1 strip of each of my pinks from the kit I bought and hate to not use a whole strip and I have lots of the same shad of pink in my stash.

Ooooo -- pinkflowers, I love your fabrics!

Here's a representative shot of mine (pre-trimmimg), one of the purples got in there twice and I think I got all the piinks... In addition to cutting large, I press my seams open but the dog ears get trimmed off anyway.

As I'm not a fan of pink, I swapped it out with orange. I didn't realize how much fabric I have until I started on this. I figure by the end, the mystery quilt is not even going to make a dent. But as I tend not to do scrappy quilts, this is certainly allowing me to spread by wings.
