Default I love new quilting tools.

I can appreciate the uses for this. I can hear some of my guild members saying that's crazy but they said the same when Accuquilt first appeared. Now they all have one. LOL

Yikes! That's pretty pricey. Out of my price range too.

It looks like a product that is designed well.

Wow, looks like something I could use. It's pricey but so was my GO Big cutting system.

I'd be worried that if it was near my electronic sewing machine, it would harm the electronics in the machine. Does the instructions say anything about keeping it away from the machines?

I think that could be useful. But at that price, I'll just keep using my antiquated system.

All the computerized machines (except the first ones ) are shielded from magnetic waves.I was told by a Bernina tech it would take a powerful magnet not found in quilting tools to cause any concern.

I know the price seems like sticker shock. But after thinking about it, a nice quilt kit, or new fabric to make a queen size quilt, plus the quilting will be about the same, maybe less. I use my lighted cutting mat so much I would buy another and I thought I would be wasting my money on it. I need a magnetic lighted cutting mat . i'll wait for that.

I talked to a tech and the new machines aren't affected by magnets.

I have some of these and they have their limitations the biggest is the price. They are wall designed though.
