After finishing the baby quilt, which can be seen here: Buttercup by Tilda for a new granddaughter, I concentrated on sewing a stuffed animal and some sleeper sacks for our expected granddaughter in July. We are driving to WA state on Monday with our two Goldens, so are anxious to get them done so I don't have to mail them.

The lamkin, which is about 9" tall, is from Funky Friends Animals and the sleeper sack with lamb embroidery is one of three I am making. It is from a pattern called: Lullaby by Judith Marquis, that I purchased from Farmhouse Fabrics, along with the super soft knit fleece. The lamb is regular fleece. Even though I used eyes with washers and glued them, I don't suggest using for infants or toddlers under three, however I thought it would be cute to have her picture taken monthly with it to show how much she has grown. Can't wait to meet this little one in person!

Adorable! Beautiful job on the sleeper. So exciting for you to await the arrival of your granddaughter. July is a good month to be born in :-)

Lovely work! Those sleep sacks are very popular and quite expensive here.

I love the lamb! And the sleep sack is adorable and will be much appreciated! My daughter still uses them and our grand daughter is 15 months.

What wonderful gifts for your expected granddaughter. The lamb is adorable, and if the little one chooses it to be her cuddle buddy, you can always add felt eyes.

How sweet! The lamb is just adorable. While you are lucky to be having a new granddaughter, she is lucky to have someone with such talent making things for her. I'm betting there will be lots more special things to come!
