Jade what a great idea! So inventive and pretty. The tutorial is also great, very clear and concise.
Thanks so much for the great tutorial, I bookmarked it. I know just what I am going to use it on. You are amazing!

OK the sentence which begins, :this is the end of the cutting and all you have to do is.................
I am so perceptually "handicapped" that I don't understand which ones to "turn". Sorry I'm so dense, but I really want to make this block. I am so intrigued by it that I have come back to it time and again. This morning I printed the tute pages and am determined to try it. I've made the disappearing 9 patch and have only flipped the opposing corner blocks. Is this kind of the same idea?

You don't flip the corners or the middle of the block at this end stage. You flip the 2 long thin pieces that have a seam between them in the middle of each side 180 degrees. That piece is 2 1/2" wide by ??? length depending on how large a block you made. I love these blocks, Jade. Am about to make more and leave them in a step by step mode for the 2 bees I'm in. Have you finished the quilt you were making? Whoever did the blocks in the Christmas fabrics, I have it as a screensaver on my computer. :^))
