He now loves it! He is the craziest cat I have ever owned but I simply adore him. He was only about 5 weeks old when I found him and he was raised by my 2 silky terriers so he is more like a dog than a cat. He got out (he is an indoor cat) and he doesn't know how to climb a tree! He chased a cat, the cat ran up the tree, he sat at the bottom and watched the cat! He sits on the floor by my chair or stays in the room where I am but NEVER sits in my lap. Thanks again for the very special box...I love every little thing in it!

Default Got my Sp padckage while I was on vacaqtion....

I am so happy to be home and have the car unloaded and laundry started today already...I am very proud of my Dh's dart tem, they took 2nd in the state dart tournament for the 5th division which is really good because there are ove 150 teams in that division alone. I opened my SP package and this is what I got from Marcia Smith (marcialee) and I love it all...I collect light houses...and I even got the book I have been wanted for forever!

I have to go hunt for that picture of Peaches. Somehow how I missed him (or her).
Seagasal, what a great package! I have that book - one yard wonders - and there is so much great stuff in there!

And I just learned that I won the Nancy Zeiman contest! I'm over the moon about it. I won a Babylock machine bag/trolley which I can really use, but honestly, I don't even care about the prize. I just really needed a little shot in the arm at this point in my life. Thank you to everyone who voted for me!

Made me remember a story my fella's dad told - they had a neighbor that didn't like their wind chimes and one night after he finally had enough of the noise he snuck over under the cover of darkness and taped the chimes all together with duct tape so they wouldn't chime - it took a while before they figured out something was wrong with their chimes and when they did the sun had baked the tape into the metal chime bars that they ended up tossing it into the trash.
Funny how some people just don't like the sound - we have a gonger in the front of our house and the neighbor across the street told me it's the nicest sound to hear early in the morning.
