I can recall using this technique with a Sulky water soluable interfacing, back in the early '90's. The improvement with the tulle is that the fabric will protect any pieces not caught by the thread. Thank you so much for sharing your technical advice. Will look forward to the video.

Just a quick update.
Video is being edited right now. I also discovered a new weight loss program by accident! Just hire a video guy to tape you for a couple of hours. I can see big money in this.LOL After I got over the shock of seeing myself as others see me, I edited and now I wait for the guy to send me the nearly finished product. We are getting closer.

Thank u for the details, I am keeping my small triangles in a shoe box which cut from corners and going to use them as feeding them to the machine during quilting to be a door mat.
But your idea cuting , cover them must be nicer and more active
