    Beautiful quilt. I have quite a few handkerchiefs (ladies and men's). I'll have to look at them. Great work!

    Very lovely, and what a great use for the pillow cases, instead of sitting in the linen closet like mine are. I don't know if I would have the heart to cut them up. All of my cases are in pairs.... so I have two of everything.

    Oh, what memories. Some of my first sewing tasks were embroidery work on pillow cases when I was 7 and 8 years old. I wish I had some of them. I have no idea where they have disappeared to. My mom introduced me to needle work just before my 6th birthday and it has been an obsession never since and from time to time a source of income. Thank you Momma for taking the time with me.

    Your quilt is a gem and will preserve this special form of work for years and years to come.

    That's really pretty! I bought a bunch of those pillowcase kits at a yard sale but didn't think of using them like this. Yours turned out great!
