She gives you the basic instruction and how to alter to fit for a perfect fit.
Pretty socks! Do you use wool yarn?

Sometimes, these are a sock yarn from Micheal's, one skein two socks I will stop when I run out of yarn.

OH, I miss the snow . . . as long as I can sit in the house and look out the window.

Ahhhh! So I'm assuming it's a wool blend(?). I used to 'collect' yarn, instead of fabric. Crocheting is my winter hobby.

Boy! I don't read for one day and I had to start back to page 93 which meant I had to miss a few. I have my SS to send to and am trying to find out more about her but didn't see her here. I guess she doesn't post very much. Will keep looking.I have already started her box, just need more ideas. she gave me a really good list and low and behold I have just what she wants! I really want to make her happy!
I feel like I should have given more information so here goes.
I like scrap quilts and am in need of 2.5" strips, long enough to cut a group of 5- 2.5" squares from.
I need another pin cushion, and would really like some pearl pins to go with it.
Someone mentioned hand made buttons, If you have me, I would love to have some of those.
I love 30's fabric as well as civil war, I have very little yellow in my stash but lately have really started to like it.
Actually you don't need to even send FQ's, just send strips and I will be a happy camper! The only color I don't really like it bright orange tho' soft orange is okay.
Someone mentioned knitting socks, I want to learn how to knit socks this winter.
I don't need a twister, I already have one.
I would love to have the book "Machine Quilting in Sections" by Marti Michell.
Now to go find my SS person's profile.
Have a great day!
Phyllis

I see you are knitting two at a time. I do want to learn that method. I am taking the same class but haven't started it yet. Just too darn much to do! That is my winter project.
Love your socks. What kind of yarn is that you are working with?

AMEN! Please speak up! Years ago I was in a gift swap, in which a good number of folks never (or hardly ever) posted. It was very sad, for those of us who had their names, as they remained virtual strangers to us. The fun is in getting to know each other; the gift should be secondary to that. PLEASE speak up and let us get to know you!

My SS doesn't post much (last post was months ago) and didn't fill out the questionnaire and doesn't have any info in her profile so I'm struggling a little but have a few things picked out. I just need a little more guidance so am hoping she'll post in the next couple weeks. It really is hard to put together a personalized and thoughtful gift with no info!
