Not only does Georgia remind me of Ray Charles (I can hear his voice and that song in my head right now) but "Peaches" comes to mind, too. An old old song. I love anything with peaches .... pie, jam, fresh off the tree. Yum.

Peaches... yummy!!! There is nothing better than a nice, ripe peach! Now I'm hungry!

Mad Mimm - peaches and your beloved chocolate go good together, too!

Mona Lisa, I don't think that is Georgia. I think that might be Tennesee. You are still in the south though.

Florence, I love your Georgia Star! Great colors and contrast. Mine is done, and I will post as soon as I get done with coffee in bed!

I would love to see a larger pic of your new avatar. Is that a pp crazy quilt? That is one of my upcoming projects, maybe with silk ties. Thanks, Nicky.

A song to sew by. Were our minds going in the same direction, Poker Diva? I can't believe I've never been to Georgia.

Love your block PokerDiva. That focus fabric is amazing. I've started twice on my Georgia block and don't like either one. Can't keep doing that though so this one is going to be alternating colors.
