This is lovely. It makes me think of the pictures of flower farms in Holland - rows and rows of gorgeous colors. It would be impossible to choose a favorite!

I really like the blending of the colors. Most of the time if you go with your gut feelings your ok.

Great job, I think. But I'm new to quilting. But if you are happy then that is all that matters.

I have never seen the florals used and they are great.

Back to work tomorrow, but it's supposed to rain and be cold and windy, so I'll be in the quilting room rather than working horses... so maybe more will get done this week! Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!!!!!! :D 8-) :D 8-)
This is FABULOUS! Would I be able to do this by getting a book on bargello, or is there a special pattern for floral? Also, where can I get a pattern for the floral log cabin, which I saw on here recently and loved!
It's in the "Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts" book, by Eileen Wright. I wanted to do it in florals--a Wildflower Meadow.

I bet the floral log cabin you're thinking about was not by me... it was made by mcdaniel023. I've made one, and several smaller projects using the blocks, but I haven't posted a quilt in this pattern in a while.

I really like this and I would call it a colourwash quilt, just to be picky.I make lots like this and they are very popular.I have sold 3 with heart shaped patterns and 4 with a diamond or trip around the world pattern and one where it went from dark to light diagonally across the quilt. So get ready for the orders! Nice job.
p.s. The book I got my inspiration from is called 'Charming Colourwash Quilts' published by Craftworld Books in 1999 and text by Jan Stretton ISBN 1875 625 135. You may like it too.
