Wonderful!! And once you wash it...its going to be amazing!!! I like the idea of using red for the binding.

Just what I was going to say, too. It is very pretty and I love the cording on quilts. Should set it off. Great job! Put a color catcher in when you wash it first time since there are so many bold colors.

Jenel this is just wonderful! What a fabulous first quilt and hand quilted too! When I decided to learn how to quilt I hand quilted my first project but it was an whole piece pillow top! The red piping would be wonderful -really make it pop! Ok so I just have to say that I am a longtime fan of your boss. I have been reading her books since she started writing for Silouette 20 plus years ago. I have some of her books sitting on my bookshelves right now. Good luck and I can't wait to see your next project.

Really nice job! The red piping would be beautiful. It would make all the colors pop.

I love your first quilt and your quilting. Great job. Can't wait to see more of your work. Please post again after you finish your binding. I think the red piping would make it pop.
