I sure hope someone is in the background with a camera when she sees her bedroom! It is an expression that would be worth a million dollars. Congrats. It is beautiful.

Well, this quilt was to be done for her birthday this September, but, alas, can't have the little girl think I don't love her. Keshia is in love with horses and has two Standard breds (Keshia is 12 yrs old) and spends all her free time with them, that is why I choose Buggy Barn fabric, Log Cabin Barnraising for the pattern and the appliqued horse. My DD and family are in Florida this week and are due to arrive home today around 4:30, so I am rushing to their house to put Keshia's quilt on her bed as a surprise. I sure hope she likes it. Some will say it is a labour of love, but, this was a quilt of intense labour.
Oh my word - your quilt is gorgeous, just stunning and what a beautiful gift for your granddaughter, oh how she will love it.
