Yikes, LisaLisa! None of us judges at all! This is the nicest group you'd ever want to meet and if anything, I have personally found that going through different themes has helped me to grow as a quilter. I'm sorry if you got that impression. Sending ((((Quilty HUGSS))))

When I first started the DQ swap I thought it would be easy, and it was, but the idea that other quilters would judge me, really got me flustered and I found myself taking all month to get it just right (even though I never really did). I think some of the new folks probably experienced the same. That probably accounts for the drop. MY DN signed up and is finding it to be a bit of a struggle. She probably won't be re-joining any time soon.

Ready? But first, here's a little note about the method to my madness ...
First criteria is that you haven't had each other before
Second, we only have two non-USA members so this month, I decided it was only fair to assign long time members to these precious Down Under Gals
Third, I tried to listen to some rather loud hinting
Fourth, I always try to pair quilters with other who I suspect will enjoy working with.
Finally ... if all else fails, I go back to number one!

And Robin, we are really going to miss YOU. This is YOUR month. I think anyone who has the time should send a crazy block to Robin to cheer her on as she enters the next battle! Sending you lots of hugs.

As for me ... I'm going back to sleep. I've been sick for days and now I am awaiting a root canal or two on Friday! It's wonderful when everything falls apart at once. Not.

LisaLisa I joined a year ago let me tell you the first one I felt same way as you! But now I love it I am hooked if someone has judged the work I've done NO ONE has ever said. Now a year later I find myself spreading out and doing more!! I'm glad I was talked into doing them. Oh please give it another go and make what you like then the next ones will be less stressful!! I also found that others didn't make me stress I did it to myself. Hugs, Sue
