well that answers that...I want to do a scrap for the same reason that you have...I like the way you sorted each of the cut logs..the one I am looking at has 80 blocks with 1.5" strips...and I also have a bunch of honey buns to use up

I’m so glad I came and read this topic. I’m a new quilter also and I really don’t want to wait until all those little pieces of fabrics add up too much and I was thinking of using them as backing and do a 2 in 1 quilt.
Thank you for showing the way you organized the strips, that's really helpful and a great idea.
I believe it would be very difficult to hand quilt it with all the seams on both sides?

You are so organized and your quilts are beautiful. Inspires me to get with it and get my scraps organized so I can make one too. Thank you for posting your pictures I love to see what other quilters are up to.

beautiful quit. And no one told you when you got into quilting that fabric scraps multiply? I started 23 years ago last month and those darn things have taken over my house, they can be found in most every room. You are wise to try to control them early.
