I'm not against "not" making one, if something else will do the job. Will check out my suitcases and see if I have one to fill the bill.

Sometimes the obvious ... is not obvious! :)

    I went to Hancock's and bought a ruler/mat holder for $20, I couldn't make one for that.

My goal would be to only have to carry in my sewing machine and this kit bag! Do you think it's possible? or impossible?

    I'd love to

Not sure which pattern I used, but check out the measurements--someone somewhere posted one and used the cm as inches when she posted. I now have a HUGE bag, as I was just not thinking when I was sewing the darn thing! :>(
Georgia Bonesteel has a neat one in one of her books--think it might be "More Lap Quilts"

Thanks for the suggestions ... when I get to it, I'll be probably pulling ideas from different patterns and people!

I've been making a list this week of my Wish List of inclusions. Plus will no doubt come up with some additions when I do the OBW course next Friday!

Will be interesting to see what I come up with!

I love the fact that the ruler slides into the bottom of my bag......from the outside!
