Your doing a great job. I made 2 queen sized puff/quillo all ready and I know what goes into making them. Believe me they take time. My avitar is one quillo I made for my granddaughter, took me almost a year to get done. Best to you. Just explain your situation with your in law and I am sure she will understand

I agree with Flowerjoy. Your health is most important if she truly cares she will wait until it is finished. Also if you want you could send her a picture of the first half and say that your shoulder needs to heal before the second half can be completed, unless she wants to come and learn to do it.

That is going to be awesome. I am sure your family won't mind waiting for this to be completed. Speedy recovery!

Good luck with your surgery. If it gets done, great, if it doesn't...there is always next year!

Wow! That looks really hard, even if you didn't have the surgery and everything else going on! Your SIL is lucky to get such a beautiful quilt. It will be worth the wait whenever it gets done.

That's really neat!! Years ago I made a pillow and my kids loved it to death. I need to make more. But a King-size? WOW is all I can say! :D
Have a good recovery and a fun trip!

you can do it!!!! here's a gigantic shove for you! and if it's just simply way too much on your plate, just remember you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of anyone else. you'll have lots of time to be mentally creative while you wait to heal up! i damaged my rotator cuff this winter and could barely use my arm let alone sew. it must hurt you to do it!! spend time with the family, put your feet up, and smile..everything works out for a reason. prayers and best of wishes to you come surgery day! by the way, do you have a cat? (you know, the dog ate my homework kind of thing :) smile! )
