Love your fur babies and bless you for adopting from the shelter. I go and walk dogs as often as I can and they are such loving and smart things. Merry Christmas

At our house in North Carolina, she would lie on the quilt right in front of the wood burner. ONLY when she would start panting would she move. Then she would lay on the bathroom floor, cool off, and then go back for more.

I don't think she realizes that there is no wood stove here. I am having problems with her getting cold and thinking that the only place to warm up in between me and the couch/chair back cushion.

Thank you for sharing your furbabies with us! One question, how do they get along? Friends? Enemies? Ignore each other? My fur babies are all cats now and I have some friends, enemies, and some just ignore each other. Just wondering how yours get along. I so miss having a dog.

Linda. When we first brought George into our family there was a "getting use to" period. Angel use to growl and try and act like she would hurt him. Now She just ignores him now. But for Daisy, my little poodle I have, she gets along with him great! The chase each other around the house. Daisy will attach him and then George in turn pounces on to off her lol... It really is a riot to watch.

What wonderful fur babies! I have 2 shar pei and 3 short hair exotic cats that I have rescued over the years and they truly bring joy. Unconditional love by all. Mostly my dogs ignore the cats, but the cats like to use the dogs tails as toys. It is so funny to watch.

they are so cute. i have three cats. mama is about six and her two girls are five. one girl is tiny and loves heat so she or her mama lay down near the heat vent in our bathroom. that bathroom is the warmest room in the house! i'm always saying we should cut a hole in the wall opposite it and put a vent in there to get more heat in the living room. i bet one cat would be laying in the hallway there if we did that. They do love laying in sunshine too, don't they? Perhaps we should do more of that.

Love your little people. I have two Shs Tzu's one is about 15 one eye removed and almost blind in the other, she was a Rescue dog and did not think she would make it this long. The other I got as a pup two years ago and she is full of it.
So I took my two little ones and then the parrot Buttons to TN to spend holidays with my son and family. Also in his family is two precious indoor cats, 3 outdoor cats and a St Bernard Needless to say the zoo is quite active around here and shocking they all get along and play together too.
