$3.75 by me. 8 cents cheaper just a few miles down the road.

Well here in Chicago we always have the distinction of being of not the highest , near the top prices. I have not filled up for a week or so... so no doubt we are still above the $4.00 mark and have been there for along time. I think I can remember in May there was a week we dropped below $4.00.

somewhere around 3.89 give or take a penny or two.

if we were to drill our oil reserves we would all be paying less than 2 bucks a gallon.

Well, we have to have a permit to drill. If the state won't give us one, we can't drill. That's the way it is. AND it takes a million to drill one well. And hope there's oil there.

In southern Il next to St. Louis, gas was $3.89 a gallon today.

I have no idea. I stop at the same gas station and fill up and never look at the price per gallon. What difference does it make, I either pay for it or stay home. LOL

I think we are in the 4.19 - 4.49 range - I live in a very rural area so we pay a little more due to the shipping costs and of course its California.
