I like the red polka dots, but they are all excellent options.

I wonder...if you could border some in red and some in blue and then alternate in the layout...hmmm.

Blue, because of the contrast.

I'm a little confused, as the Falling Charms that I have seen, has a consistent background fabric with an assortment of different fabrics for the Falling Charms. I'm not so sure you would be effective to use one consistent fabric for all the charms.

I can see your white print as the background fabric ... which would then mean several different ones for the charms. I'd start with what you have, though I would probably leave out the plain red as it reads much the same as the dotted red. I'd look for a darker blue to add to the mix, a gold print, and something with the red-blue-gold all together, plus any others that work with the mix. That is, if I wanted a multi-colour RW+B look.

Otherwise, I would look for an assortment of blues ... or reds that mix and match.

Though I don't know the pattern I love the red dimples and the red flowers.

I am assuming the 5" squares of medical fabric will be the charms, and you are trying to decide on the sashing? Depends on if you are aiming for a calm quilt or a cheery quilt. The blue would calm down the entire quilt; red would enliven it. Between the reds, I actually prefer the solid over the little dots.

For those not familiar with the pattern, here is a link to a Youtube tutorial:

The completed quilt is hanging in the background.
