Very nice idea, this weekend I was relocation gift bags filled with yarns to a different closet. These bags could hang on hooks. Thanks for sharing your idea.

The pillowcases are cute. I like the idea of using flannel.

Had some fat quarters for mine....got them at WM...those ones with 5 in a bundle, tied with a ribbon.
Forgot to take a pic of the back which is a different color.
I made the ruffle longer than suggested.
If I made another one, I would make a longer drawstring. I had to join some pieces and it isn't quite long enough.

Thanks for this project of the month.

What a beautiful Gift Bag Pillowcase that you have made & are sharing with all of the rest of us, here on the Quilting Board. When I made mine, I also made the draw string a little bit longer. Your ruffle really adds to it, too. I wanted to suggest, but forgot, that I would defiantly add more fabric to the length of the piece for the ruffle. I like to have a bit more fullness in my ruffles. Just a suggestion though. Thank you for sharing.

I am new to these sites and I can not seem to find the directions for the block of the month for Jan. I found the project but not the block. Hope to hear from someone.
