If you only have 34 squares, you could use them in the centre of a star. Add one more and your quilt would have five stars across and seven rows down. With sashing and corner stones (figuring on at least 12 inch star blocks) you could have this work out to queen size.

You can do anything you want to do as long as you really want to do it! Check out Bonnie Hunter @quiltville.com, she has LOTS of free patterns and tutorials!

You could try alternating a white or cream/ivory square in between each of these and then put a border on it and make it larger. Good luck.

34 squares won't make a queen size quilt unless you add more blocks and sashing. Good Luck, you can design your own quilt now.

I designed this Falling Charm quilt to use 6" squares. This quilt uses 48 squares and measure approximately 49" by 65".

Maniacquilter...love that pattern. Just what I've been thinking about for a group of squares I have!

You could use the squares in the center and build out, with sashing, with corner stones, with additional blocks, start by laying them out and audition other fabrics with the ones you have and see what happens!

Just some handy info on charm packs that I picked up somewhere, I think it was Missouri Star:
1 charm pack = baby quilt 36x54 inches
2 charm packs = crib quilt 45x60 inches
3 charm packs = lap quilt (sorry I don't have the size)
5 charm packs = twin quilt 63x87 inches
8 charm packs = queen quilt 84x92 inches

Make more blocks that compliment what you have. And create your own design -- I always seem to have a few extra blocks from quilts- one quilt in particular I lost count of the pieces and ended up with 32 extra blocks. I took these along with a lot of others and made what my GD calls her Jelly Bean quilt. All colors in a bag are there. She laid them out as she wanted and I stitched them together.
