    Optical illusion quilts are mesmerizing! Well done. So is this going to be for him anyway, or will you make him a gray and yellow one? Is he a teenager? My 17 year old liked green in early elections, blue in later elementary, grey in middle school, orange in 10th, pink in 11th, and now he’s on an orange kick. I would not base my fabric choices on what he says is his favorite color—I’ll make what I want. Haha.

    What a great quilt! Very modern, yet has a bit of an Amish feel to it as well. You did an excellent job with the various values of blue. The straight line quilting is perfect for this.
