Very soft and cuddly looking. I can see the love you put into it.

It's beautiful, she'll love it. That was very thoughtful for you to make her a quilt.

It's a pretty quilt for your MIL. I'm sure the fond memories of shopping for the fabrics make it even more special. Enjoy your visit!

Love the serpentine stitching. Just discovered it myself. It's my new favorite.

The hearts are perfect your stitching and quilting are great! The soft background and border is perfect! I am so sure your MIL will love it to the moon and back. It sounds like she supports your love of quilting. Very Very pretty quilt.

What a lovely project and sentiments! I too have a wonderful mother-in-law, and a great daughter-in-law too!

I did my first quilt with the serpentine stitch last year, my old vintage machine didn't have the option. I think it's a great solution for any quilt on a grid -- which is most of them. One of my Tuesday group ladies does a lot of preemie and children's donation projects and almost always uses serpentine stitch, and they all look good.

What a beautiful and soft tribute to your MIL. She got a winner too. Love the soft colors and the serpentine quilting just gives it a vintage crinkly look she will love.
