    Yes, I did, however, it was my new paper piecing try, so I will like the next one better. I would recommend when you make your templates, marking them withe the right side up. I cut out two blocks of pieces before I figured out I had cut them out wrong side up.

    What a beautiful gift for your friend, she will love it! I really like your colours and the stripes are really effective, it looks complicated, you have done a fine job!

    I think you did a good job on it! Look at those mitered corners! We are too hard on ourselves sometimes....It looks wonderful to me!! :thumbup:

    I agree. I, too, am impressed with those mitered corners. Only the very good or very brave quilters do those. Good on you for doing such a wonderful thing. She is lucky to have you as a friend.
