    Oh, AshleyO that is sooo pretty. I love it. Can't wait to see it finished, I know you are so proud.


    I was so pleased to see your quilt, because I made a "Chunky Churn Dash" a couple years ago, and by gollies, Yep, that's the same kind of block! You just don't hear of that block very often, seems to me.
    But mine is plain, I actually never thought of the variations in the background colors. That's a clever, eye-catching way to show the blocks.
    Anyway, thanks for making my day!

    Your quilt is cheerful and snuggly looking. Great job! What size did you make the blocks as it appears that you up-sized? I don't like working with small pieces and this looks like it would be a great quilt to use up assorted scraps for our Community Quilts. Please share your block dimensions for those of us who would like to stitch a version of our own.

    Hi Shelbie, the blocks are 12" instead of 6" :) It really is a lovely pattern. I Have to give credit to Quiltville of course :)
